Pandora Launches $0.99 Day Pass For Ad-Free Streaming

To commemorate its tenth anniversary Pandora has launched what it calls the Pandora One Day Pass, as the name suggests it allows subscribers to avail all Pandora One benefits for the day subscribed just for $0.99. It’s ideal for people who might want all of Pandora’s premium features, including favorite artists, songs and stations ad-free, for just one day only without having to subscribe to the service for the entire month.

“Some listeners want an ad-free experience every once in a while, and the Pandora One Day Pass offers a new way to effortlessly access the music they love,” says Chris Phillips, chief product officer at Pandora.

Pandora One Day Pay is going to sponsor the Pandora “Listener Love Day” which commemorates the service’s tenth anniversary with a full day of music with zero advertisements. “Listener Love Day” begins at 12 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Sept. 9 and ends at 12 a.m. EST, Thursday, Sept. 10.

Listeners can preview the ad-free experience of Pandora One Day Pass during this celebratory event, the Pass itself will be available for purchase the following day.

Pandora One Day Pass will be available for purchase starting September 10th on iOS and Android. Once the day pass has been purchased the listening experience starts immediately and will seamlessly expand to cars, connected devices and all platforms on which Pandora is available.
