According to the rumors, there has been talk about OnePlus possibly creating a second device for launch this year. We were already treated to the company’s flagship in the form of the OnePlus 2, and so it was speculated that the second device might be a more affordable model dubbed the OnePlus Mini.
That being said, thanks to a render that has made its way online, we might have our first glimpse at what the alleged OnePlus Mini could look like. From the rendering, it looks like the device looks rather normal and sports a pair of grills at the bottom which we can only assume belong to the speakers and microphone.
There is also a circular cutout in the back which also seems to suggest that the phone will come with a fingerprint scanner. The cutout reminds us of how the fingerprint sensor on the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, but given how Google has attempted to standardize fingerprint scanning technology in Android, we suppose it doesn’t really come as a surprise
Also what’s interesting is the fact that it comes with a pair of cameras on the back and a dual-flash setup. In any case this rendering admittedly does not look particularly official, so there is a chance it could simply be a mockup or a rendering created by a fan, so take it with a grain of salt for now.
