According to the rumors, Google is set to launch two new Nexus handsets towards the end of the month. They are rumored to be known as the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P as made by LG and Huawei respectively. Now if you’re wondering how legit those names are, the folks at Android Police have seemingly confirmed it.
They have reported on a leaked pair of images that are allegedly that of the retail box for both devices. As you can see in the photos above and below, they clearly show the “X” and “P” lettering albeit stylized. There is also some writing at the corner which denotes the name of the device and the storage size as well.
Unfortunately there is no branding save for the Nexus name, so we can’t be 100% sure if it is made by LG and Huawei, but we suppose we will find out pretty soon. Google has announced that they will be hosting an event on the 29th of September where we can only assume the new Nexus handsets will be announced.
If a new Nexus device is something you’d like to get your hands on, do check back with us next week for all the official details. In the meantime what do you guys make of the packaging?
