Earlier this year Microsoft showed off the revamped Surface Hub, it’s a massive computer that’s primarily geared towards the business sector as it fulfills all requirements of a boardroom and a conference room. Surface Hub was due to start shipments this year but the company had to delay it till next year. Surface Hub actually comes in two different models, one that has a 55 inch display and the other with a truly massive 84 inch display. The former is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and is relatively cheap at $7,000, the latter comes with an Intel Core i7 processor and costs $20,000.
All Surface Hub models run on a custom version of Windows 10 with audio and video conferencing features, since they have massive displays the models can also be used as a whiteboard for taking down notes. Pre-installed software also includes custom versions of OneNote, Office and Skype for Business.
Microsoft confirmed recently that the Surface Hub is going to start shipping next year, it’s going to start sending out units from January 1st, 2016.
