There’s bad news today for those who have been waiting for the new Need for Speed title to arrive on PC. NFS fans have had to wait for a year because it was decided not to come out with a new title last year, but PC gamers will end up having to wait significantly longer than their console counterparts. It has been confirmed that the new Need for Speed PC release has been delayed from November 2015 to Spring 2016.
The team at Ghost says that it has head from the PC community that an unlocked frame rate is a “massive priority” for them and to deliver this they have made the decision to delay the new Need for Speed PC release from November 2015 to Spring 2016.
It’s not bad news for console owners because the team has confirmed that the November 3rd, 2015 release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One remains the same. The delay is only for the PC version.
Ghost says that this decision on PC will give it the necessary development time to increase the visuals that can be delivered on PC, as a consolation prize it will include content updates that have been released on console up to that time so that PC players get them from day one.
