A couple of days ago, it was rumored that Motorola had a new handset in the works codenamed “Bounce”. The idea of naming a handset “Bounce” suggested that it would be a relatively rugged phone and while we can’t be 100% sure if that is the case, a new tweet by @upleaks has revealed a new photo of the device.
While the new photo appears to be similar to the previous leak, it’s hard to tell what is the difference compared to previous Motorola handsets that would make it more durable. From what we can tell it looks like a regular design, versus other rugged handsets we’ve seen in the past where OEMs have built bumpers around the edges to make it more durable.
However given the previous rumor, we have heard that the phone is said to be shatterproof so chances are we might only be looking at a strengthened display here, as opposed to the entire phone being rugged. The device is said to feature a 5.43-inch QHD display and will sport a Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood.
This makes it a pretty impressive device but unfortunately no word on when the phone will be announced, but hopefully we will learn more about it soon, so check back with us in the near future for the details.
