If you happen to love the racing franchise Need for Speed, then I am quite sure that you would have been keeping tabs on new concerning Need for Speed that is all set to arrive on current generation consoles, namely the PS4 and the Xbox One. While we do know that the PC release has been delayed, here are additional details concerning the title for the consoles. Apparently, the game will run at 30fps for both consoles, which should facilitate a rather smooth gameplay experience that translates the high speed experience that ought to provide its fair bit of adrenaline rush.
Apart from that, the game’s publisher, EA (Electronic Arts), has also confirmed that it does not have any plans at all for paid DLC or microtransactions; and is looking into the possibility of split-screen gaming at the moment. That makes plenty of sense, especially when you take into consideration how large and wide the kind of screens that gamers use these days.
There was no mention at all of the frame rate for the PC edition though, although we do know that the delay of the title for the PC has been deemed to be a necessary evil, so to speak, in order to “increase the visuals that we can deliver on PC.”
