Things in life do not often go as planned, and hence, there are times when we are disappointed by a delay of something or someone. Having said that, Mighty No. 9, a Kickstarter project that happens to be the spiritual successor of Mega Man, will not be running on your screens anytime soon this year since it has missed its September release date, and has been slated to roll out in North America next year instead.
Yes sir, you might want to mark down the 9th of February, 2016 on your calendars as publisher Deep Silver has just announced that that will be the date (fingers crossed) in which Mighty No. 9 hits the market. Mighty No. 9 will be available in both digital and physical forms when the 9th of February rolls around next year, targeting the Sony PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One platforms.
On the same day, it will also see a digital release for Linux, Mac, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360 platforms. The downloadable versions of the game for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita will not arrive so soon, so owners of those handheld consoles will have to be a wee bit more patient, although concrete date has been set yet, it will arrive “at a later date.” Hopefully not too late though, otherwise the hype might just die off if the game does not make it big.
