It looks like the upcoming high end model from the folks over at Meizu will not only sport a Full HD display as mentioned earlier, it also has its name confirmed through a package leak. In other words, the Meizu MX Pro 5 will be the upcoming high end model from the smartphone manufacturer, although for a while, the moniker Meizu NIUX has been bandied about.
September 23rd should be marked on your calendars, as that is when Meizu’s media event will be held. What you see above is an alleged photo of the packaging of the Meizu MX Pro 5, assuming it is an original image, of course, without being digitally manipulated in any way. I guess this means we can more or less rule out the possibility of a Meizu MX 5 Pro name, right?
All in all, we will just have to play the patience card and wait until the Meizu media event kicks off a couple of weeks from now. It should be a whole lot less smokescreen and mirrors by then, and the rest of the hardware specifications too, will be revealed to the masses. Hopefully it will be able to stack up against other current generation flagship smartphones.
