New Lumia 950 XL Renderings Leaked Ahead Of Launch
Microsoft has confirmed that come 6th of October, they will be hosting an event. While they were not explicit in mentioning what the event would be about, it has been speculated that the event will be about launching new products, such as the Surface Pro 4, possibly the new Microsoft Band 2, and new Lumia handsets like the Lumia 950 and 950 XL.
Now thanks to previously leaked slides, specs and images of the device have been leaked, but just in case you wanted clearer photos, both @OnLeaks and @evleaks have since posted new renderings of the upcoming Lumia 950 XL. The image you see above is supposedly the CAD version of the handset, while the image below is the cleaned up version of it which looks like the final product.
These renderings line up with what we already know about the upcoming handsets so unless Microsoft pulls a last minute switcheroo, we think we’re good. Now as far as specs are concerned, here’s a quick recap for those who might have missed out on the previous rumors. Both handsets are expected to share a similar 20MP main camera with OIS, 32GB of storage, and 3GB of RAM.
However with the Lumia 950, it will sport a 5.2-inch QHD display, while the 950 XL will sport a 5.7-inch QHD display. The Lumia 950 will run on a Snapdragon 808 versus the Snapdragon 810 on the 950 XL. Either way do check back with us next week if you’d like to learn more.
