According to the various rumors, leaks, and a recent trademark filing, it would seem that LG has a new phone in the works called the LG G4 Note. Now according to the latest rumors, it would seem that they are claiming that the LG G4 Note will feature a removable battery, which is something we’re sure many smartphone owners can get on board with.
A lot of phones these days tend to have fixed batteries, like what Samsung did with their latest flagship smartphones. Granted this results in a sleeker phone with less moving parts, but at the same time it also means that once your battery starts losing its ability to store its charge, either you’d have to fork out for an expensive repair, or buy a new phone.
This is versus removable batteries where you could easily toss out the old one and get a new one. The report goes on to claim that this means that LG will be relying on a plastic build with a removable back cover that will allow users access to the removable battery. Apparently LG is also rumored to retain the same back-fitted button configuration which has sort of become their trademark design.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but there is no word no when this alleged LG G4 Note will be announced, or if it will pack any of the features we’ve heard so far, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for an answer.
