Less than a fortnight after the Lenovo Vibe P1 was announced, we are pleased to bring you word that this particular handset is now ready and waiting to have its pre-orders taken on Amazon. This particular device’s main draw would be its ability to be able to last for a long, long time (relatively speaking, of course) before it requires a trip to the nearest power outlet. The kicker for this ability? A fat and juicy 5,000mAh battery within.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 will feature a chassis that is made using a magnesium alloy, and you can place a pre-order for it for $359.99 a pop. Expect it to ship some time in October, and other hardware specifications include a 5.5” LCD display with a 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 615 CPU running proceedings from under the hood, an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU chugging along, accompanied by the likes of 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
You will also find a 5MP selfie shooter and a 13MP rear camera, with Android 5.1 Lollipop arriving right out of the box with Vibe 2.68 UI running on top of it. A fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity rounds off the list of features.
