British carmaker Jaguar is a name that is more often than not associated with that of luxury, and it is then more than appropriate for them to finally keep up with the times, so to speak, through the revealing of its very first sport utility vehicle (SUV). Sister brand Land Rover has been in the SUV market for a long, long time already, but this is Jaguar’s maiden attempt with their crossover F-PACE.
Jaguar Land Rover has set aside a whopping 3.6 billion pounds when it comes to churning out new vehicles and other capital expenditure for the years 2015 to 2016, as they made the effort to expand its range and overseas production thanks to the presence of new plants which are set to be completed in Brazil and Slovakia, in addition to manufacturing partnership in Austria.
The F-PACE crossover SUV happens to be a medium sized model, where one third of it will be made out of lightweight aluminium alloy. Prices will start from 34,170 pounds if you happen to live in Britain. Any takers? With the global economic slowdown happening already, and volatile markets alongside a very fragile web of global alliances on the political front, one would have to be extra prudent when it comes to one’s money.
