Both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are expected to be released on the 25th of September. However it seems that if you are planning on purchasing it from Apple’s website, you might be completely out of luck. According to a report from 9to5Mac, they have noted that both models in their varying sizes and colors have been completely sold out.
As you can see in the screenshot above, if you were to pre-order the devices today, it seems that you won’t get them on launch date itself. Instead you will be looking at a couple of weeks of delay. Of course the longer you wait the chances of it being delayed further is very likely. The report goes on to note that Apple has sold out of iPhones across all the countries the device will be initially available in.
Prior to this, we had heard that Apple had ordered a record number of iPhones in anticipation of the launch, but if anything it looks like Apple will have trouble keeping up with orders for at least the next month or two. That being said, if you really want to grab yourself a new iPhone 6s or 6s Plus on launch day, you will probably need to head to an Apple store and hope they have not sold out either.
