OS X El Capitan isn’t the only piece of software to come out of Apple today, the company has also released the second bug fixing and maintenance update for iOS 9, which itself was released only a couple of weeks back. iOS 9.0.2 brings some important bug fixes that deal with cellular data, app stability and iMessage activation, some of the complaints from users will be resolved after they jump up to iOS 9.0.2.
iOS 9.0.2 brings a fix for an issue with the setting that’s used to turn on or off app cellular data usage, it also resolves an issue which prevented iMessage activation for a few users.
The update improves stability of Podcasts and fixes an issue where sometimes the screen would incorrectly rotate when new notifications would come in. There’s also a fix for an issue when iCloud backup would be interrupted after starting a manual update included in this update.
Apple has released iOS 9.0.2 merely a week after iOS 9.0.1 was released to fix some early issues that came to the front following the public release of iOS 9.0.2, it’s good to see that Apple is being quick with sending out maintenance updates so that users don’t have to worry about any particular issue for a long period of time.
