Earlier this year, there were rumors going around concerning Huawei and their upcoming Nexus branded device, and it seems that such a rumor is starting to put on flesh from just bones alone, as an alleged Nexus 6 from Huawei has been benchmarked. It also carries with it the possibility of the handset being known as the Huawei Angler, so until the final device hits the market, or additional leaks happen, we will just have to continue to live with the speculation.
The Huawei Angler that ran through the GeekBench benchmark test recently does point to having the Snapdragon 810 SoC running underneath the hood, where it will boast of an octa-core CPU that ran at 1.55GHz during the test, accompanied by the Adreno 430 GPU. Apart from that, the device will also arrive with 3GB of RAM, helping it stay ahead of the curve.
GeekBench showed that the Huawei Nexus 6 featured a single-core score of 1156, with a multi-core tally of 3641, making it rather close to the likes of figures produced by Nexus 5X from LG. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be pre-installed on this upcoming Huawei device, and it is tipped to be unveiled this coming September 29th. Again, as with all rumors, do be patient until everything is officially announced.
