HTC One M9+ Relaunched With Improved Camera

Earlier this year HTC launched the HTC One M9+. This was basically a more powerful version of the HTC One M9 with a larger display and a higher display resolution. Now we’re not sure what is HTC’s strategy here at the moment, but oddly enough the company has decided that the HTC One M9+ warrants a refresh.

According to the translations, this handset is apparently known as the HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition. For the most part it appears that the specs of the handset is identical to the original One M9+ with the main difference being its camera. From the 20MP found on the One M9+, HTC has bumped it to 21MP.

The handset is not only getting a bump in megapixels, but it has also received a new anti-shake feature to help prevent blurry photos/videos, and there is also the addition of a laser autofocus to help make autofocusing on subjects faster. This also replaces the secondary camera found on the HTC One M9+ which we suppose isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

There is also the inclusion of the dual LED and dual-tone flash, but other than that the rest of the specs remains identical to its predecessor. It is expected to go on sale in Taiwan come 5th of October where it will be priced around $630, but unfortunately no word on whether it will make its way stateside.
