This was spotted by the folks at Gizchina and as you can see in the photo above, Hisense has created a near bezel-less display. This is definitely unlike most tablets we have seen to date, which tends to focus on landscape orientation. However with the Magic Mirror, it almost feels like Hisense designed the tablet to be used in portrait orientation.
According to the specs, the Magic Mirror tablet sports an 8.4-inch display with a 2560×1600 resolution, giving it a pixel density of 360ppi. Under the hood, a Rockchip RK3288 chipset can be found. There will also be 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, along with Dolby Audio for its sound system.
Hisense has also opted to load Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system of choice. Unfortunately availability stateside was not mentioned, but the company will be selling it in China’s JingDong mall where it will retail for around $280.
