Google has an event scheduled for tomorrow where it’s going to make a number of interesting announcements, including but not limited to two new Nexus smartphones. The company is also expected to talk about some of its services and according to a new report a Google Play Music family plan will be formally launched tomorrow which will allow families to share one single Play Music subscription.
Family plans for music streaming services are nothing new, Spotify has one and so does Apple Music. Google Play Music hasn’t had one up till now so it does make sense that Google is finally jumping on the bandwagon.
Members of a family certainly wouldn’t like to pay individually for a music streaming subscription, the costs will be quite high, and that’s why family plans are so appealing.
AndroidPolice reports that Google will announce a new family plan for its music streaming service tomorrow, the plan will reportedly allow six members of a family to share a subscription each with their own account for just $14.99 per month.
Google’s plan will provide more value for money than Spotify which charges $14.99 per month for two family members, those who want five on a single plan have to pay $29.99. On the other hand Apple allows six family members to share a plan also for $14.99 per month.
