Netflix is no stranger to making quality content, the company really has established itself as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to original series. The company wants to have the same position in the world of feature films and many expect that Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation might propel it into Hollywood’s big leagues. According to a report Netflix has teamed up with Curzon Cinemas in the United Kingdom for the theatrical release of Beasts of No Nation.
First premiered at the Venice Film Festival, Beasts of No Nation is going to be screened at the BFI London Film Festival on October 8th. Netflix is going to release the film online in all of its territories come October 16th, that’s also when the movie will be screened at select Curzon cinemas across the pond.
Based on a novel by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala Beasts of No Nation stars Idris Elba and happens to be the debut of young actor Abraham Attah who plays a child soldier in a war-torn African country.
The first trailer of this movie was released awhile back and from the looks of it Beasts of No Nation is going to be an intensive movie to say the least, many expect Idris Elba to deliver a fine performance as a warlord in the war-torn country.
