Continuum Dock From Microsoft

Windows 10 is a platform where Microsoft intends to use it so that the level of productivity will be able to be improved – and not just on a single device, of course, as we are looking at various other devices as well as form factors and platforms. Where mobile devices are concerned, this has seen the rollout of Continuum, which happens to be a feature that remains exclusive to Windows 10 Mobile, where it will allow you to enjoy your smartphone with the benefit of a larger display, letting it work in the same vein as that of a normal computer.

Running on the Universal Windows Platform, Continuum will enable the smartphone, theoretically speaking, to end up as the only device you will need, although it might seem to be more of a pipe dream than anything else at this point in time. The external dock that is required for this does have its fair share of rumors, where among them include a trio of USB ports, a single HDMI port and a DisplayPort, too. Chances are it will come with its own power supply, which is a good thing.

The Continuum Dock is said to be launched some time in October at a major Microsoft event alongside upcoming Microsoft flagship handsets and the Surface Pro 4.
