While the smartphone world is a very competitive one in this day and age, there are also battles brewing on two fronts – one of them would be the “on contract” basis, while the other would involve unlocked handsets. Well, it seems that the BLU Pure XL smartphone that measures at a whopping 6” diagonally will soon be made available directly to those living in the US, which means it will play nice with the 4G LTE networks offered by AT&T and T-Mobile.
I would think that the BLU Pure XL would reside on the level of “affordable premium” handsets, where among the competitors in which it will face would include the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition and the OnePlus 2. An unlocked handset like this would also be easier on the pockets for those who want something like a flagship device, but do not want to break the bank for it.
The asking price of $350 for the BLU Pure XL would bring along with it Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 6” display at 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution, powered by the 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 2.0GHz octa-core processor, a 24MP rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing shooter, up to 64GB of internal memory, with a 3,500mAh battery that keeps it chugging along nicely.
