Slowly but surely apps and services are coming to Apple Watch, Apple’s first smartwatch that was released only a few months ago. We’ve seen services like Google Maps on the wearable device while multiple cross-platform messaging services are already available, another one joins the list today. A new update for BBM has been pushed out which includes support for the Apple Watch.
BBM for iOS got a new update today which adds quick reply support with iOS 9, users are now allowed to send videos in chats. The update also adds official BBM Sticker Club subscription in the BBM Shop.
It was announced recently that BBM and PayPal have teamed up to enable users to send money using the instant messaging service, with this update users on iOS can now send money to their BBM contacts as an attachment, the service is powered by PayPal.
Enhancements to BBM Voice connectivity are also included aside from bug fixes and performance improvements and the ability to view, like and comment on group pictures and other events from inside BBM feeds.
Apple Watch enables users to receive BBM messages on the smartwatch, they can reply quickly using default sentences that work for most general situations, users can send a detailed message through the voice dictation feature since there’s no virtual keyboard on the smartwatch.
