The carrier has recently announced that starting today, they will be adding 3 new wearables to their lineup. This includes the BASIS Peak, Garmin Vivoactive, and the Garmin Vivofit 2. All three devices were announced and launched earlier this year and are already available via third-party retailers as well, but if you happen to be closer to an AT&T store (not all stores will carry them), they should be carrying them as well.
The BASIS Peak will be sold at $199. It will feature four sensors that can pick up things about you such as your heart rate, motion, perspiration, and even skin temperature. It can even track your sleep. It has a battery life of four days so you won’t need to be charging it everyday. Next up is the Garmin Vivoactive.
This watch comes with a built-in GPS so you can keep track of your runs or your bike rides. It will also be able to pair with your smartphone to deliver notifications to your wrist, and will be priced at $249. Last but not least is the Garmin Vivofit 2. This is a more basic fitness tracker that does pretty much what most trackers do, such as count your steps and calories burnt.
It can also detect when you’ve been inactive for too long and will alert you to that fact. It is also water resistant so wearing it to the pool or beach should be fine. It will be the cheapest of the trio with its price set at $99.
