Another day, another smartphone is revealed. It does seem to us as though Archos is on a roll here, with their Archos Diamond Tab and Archos Diamond S being announced last month. Here we are with the Archos Diamond Plus, a new smartphone that will also be the second model under the Archos Diamond range.
The Archos Diamond Plus will come with all of the signature traits that the rather noble Diamond line has, including an octa-core processor, 4G/LTE connectivity, cameras that work well to preserve your memories in a digital format, and a 5.5” inch FHD IPS screen with full lamination, all coming in a sleek chassis that is slim with a slightly curved silver back.
The octa-core Cortex A53 1.5GHz processor should be able to let you get on with your smartphone productivity in a seamless manner, and with 16GB of internal memory in this puppy, storage should not be too much of an issue early on, and thankfully there is also a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. Fast charging capability is also thrown into the mix to let you make the most of it during emergencies. Android 5.1 Lollipop will arrive right out of the box, and hopefully it won’t be too dated when it is made available later this November for £179.99 a pop. [Press Release]
