It turns out the rumors were right. Apple has officially announced some new designs for the Apple Watch. No, don’t worry, Apple has not redesigned the watch. Rather, the company has introduced new finishes in gold and rose gold for the anodized aluminum material, so if you can’t afford the actual Apple Watch Edition, this could make a cheaper alternative.
Best of all, this new design is priced at the same as the Apple Watch Sport. Now for fashionistas who wants to mix and match the Apple Watch with their outfits, you’re in luck. Apple has also announced a variety of new bands and color options, including the (PRODUCT) RED band that was recently leaked.
Most interestingly is the collaboration that Apple has made with Hermes. It seems that Apple truly wants the Apple Watch to be a fashion icon as they have announced a trio of new strap designs. These straps come in three different styles, all of which are made from hand-stitched leather. The collaboration does not stop here as the collaboration includes custom watch faces designed with Hermes’ fonts and style in mind.
Unfortunately pricing was not mentioned, but we reckon they won’t come cheap. All models should be available via the Apple Store so head on over if you’d like to check them out.
