If you use an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch then you might be aware that not too long ago Apple released iOS 9.0 for supported devices, the new firmware brought tons of new features and improvements for these devices and it was released a few months after it entered beta stage following the unveiling at WWDC 2015 back in June this year. Apple today released the first update for iOS 9, it bumps up version iOS 9.0.1 which in itself reveals that this is an incremental update.
From the look of it the only purpose of this update is to fix bugs and iron out some issues that users have been facing since they updated to iOS 9 not too long ago.
Some widely reported bugs including one where users couldn’t complete the setup assistant progress after updating and there was another bug which prevented alarms from going off at set times, this one is particularly dreadful.
iOS 9.0.1 brings fixes for both of these bugs which also fixing an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing the video would cause the frame to appear distorted, an issue concerning custom APN setups has also been taken care of.
In the meantime Apple has already seeded iOS 9.1 beta to developers which means work is already underway on the first major update for iOS 9.
