While many have lauded Apple Music as being a potential rival to Spotify who has admittedly been in the streaming game much longer, a quick search on Google for problems related to Apple Music and you will find many. Users are complaining of errors, connectivity issues, and also how their songs are being replaced with the wrong version.
That being said if you’re an Apple Music subscriber, fret not because according to Oliver Schusser, the VP of iTunes International, Apple is hard at work trying to fix all these issues. Schusser said, “The product is always our priority, and we are getting a lot of feedback. Remember, this was a very big launch in 110 markets instantly, so we get a ton of feedback. We’re obviously trying to make it better every day.”
He also adds, “There’s a lot of work going into making the product better. Our focus is on editorial and playlists, and obviously we have teams all around the world working on that, but we’re also adding features and cleaning up certain things.” Like we said there has been a lot of complaints about the service to date, but that is to be expected given that it is a new service.
Will Apple succeed in fixing all these issues that users have been complaining about? We suppose that remains to be seen, but in the meantime will you be continuing with your subscription, or do you think the problems are too troublesome that you will go back to Spotify?
