After all why would anyone swap platforms if it means they lose access to the majority of their apps, right? Now the Tizen platform is a budding platform and is aimed mostly at the emerging market, largely thanks to Samsung who has been pushing the platform hard. The good news is that if you wanted more apps, Rovio has you covered.
The company has recently confirmed that they will be bringing their Angry Birds game onto Tizen. It is unclear as to when exactly this will happen, but the company did promise it will be released soon. Granted Angry Birds is just one app, but if anything it does show that the platform is starting to gain the attention and support from some of the major developers out there.
Perhaps overtime we will start seeing more apps creating for Tizen, but for now, we suppose this is as good a start as any. In the meantime Samsung is said to be working on a new Tizen phone in the form of the Samsung Z3, but there is no word on when that will be launched.
