We have been hearing for the past couple of weeks that Amazon is going to unveil some new hardware later this month, it’s expected that the company is going to launch new Kindle Fire tablets. Recent reports have suggested that Amazon is going to introduce a new 6 inch tablet priced at $50 and just today a render of a new 10 inch Kindle Fire was leaked online. It appears that the company might have as many as four new tablets in the pipeline.
Some evidence has been obtained through FCC filings, several products have been listed which appear to be Amazon tablets, and they go well with recent reports about multiple new tablets from the company.
The latest development is a bit interesting though, it appears that Amazon is hosting thumbnails of its four new tablets on its own servers, an AFTVnews reader was able to spot them and the sizes appear to range from 6 inches all the way up to 10 inches.
Unfortunately not much is known at this point in time about the specifications of these new tablets, some purported specs of the 6 inch tablet were leaked online yesterday, but nothing can be said for sure right now.
Amazon still hasn’t confirmed when it intends to hold the press event where it will unveil these new devices.
