Windows 10 Mobile has yet to be released. Last we heard it could see a release in November. While we know for sure that Microsoft is working on Windows 10 Mobile devices, it looks like Alcatel could be working on something too. According to a tweet by @evleaks, it has been revealed that an Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL smartphone is in the works.
According to the leaked specs provided by @evleaks, the OneTouch Fierce XL will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor under the hood. This in itself indicates that the phone is definitely not a high-end phone or even a mid-ranger. However it will pack a large 5.5-inch display with a HD resolution.
There will be 2GB of RAM accompanying the phone, 16GB of storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,500mAh battery, microSD card support, and has been pegged for a potential launch in December. Based on the minimum hardware requirements of Windows 10 Mobile, the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL certainly checks off all the boxes.
That being said, Alcatel has released Windows-based devices in the past so the idea of them creating a Windows 10 Mobile device isn’t such a stretch. Unfortunately there were no photos to accompany the leaked specs, but hopefully we will find out more soon.
