It looks like a single week makes a whole lot of difference in the world of tech, and this time around it involves the number of installs where Windows 10 is concerned across numerous devices. In fact, it was just last week that we brought you word on how Windows 10 had passed the 53 million install mark, and here we are with word that Microsoft’s Windows 10 had already made their way beyond the 75 million installation mark, which is definitely a milestone that is worth celebrating, of course.
To surpass the 75 million installation milestone in close to a month since Windows 10 was released is definitely something that is worth applauding to say the least, where over 90,000 PC and tablet models have made the upgrade to the new operating system as it runs in 192 countries. Apart from that, it has been reported that the app store for Windows 10 has had half a dozen times more downloads per device as opposed to Windows 8.
In fact, Microsoft has promised their shareholders that Windows 10 would hit the 1 billion user mark in a matter of three years, and if that were to be the case, you can more or less say that this is the fastest adoption rate – ever. There might be some reasonable clout to believe in such statistics, since within the first 24 hours of its release, a total of 14 million devices were already running the new operating system.
