Uncharted 4 has been a game long in the making. We first heard about the game a couple of years ago where it had originally been pegged for a 2015 release, only to have it delayed to 2016. The good news is that it appears we won’t have to wait much long as Sony has officially announced that the game will be released on the 18th of March 2016.
Along with the announcement of the game’s release date, Sony has also revealed two special editions of the game that gamers can buy. The first is just dubbed the Special Edition and it will be priced at $79.99. It will come with the game on Blu-ray, a collectible steelbook case designed by Alexander “That Kid Who Draws” Iaccarino, a 48-page hardcover art book, a stick sheet, and Naughty Dog Points.
The next bundle is called the Libertalia Collector’s Edition. This is more pricey at $119.99 and will include all the same features and goodies as the Special Edition, with the main difference being that it will also include a 12-inch Nathan Drake statue made by Gentle Giant, three multiplayer outfits, two custom weapon skins, a Henry Avery Sigil ball cap, and Madagascar Sidekick outfits.
For those who prefer their games digital, there is also a Deluxe Edition which is priced at $79.99. This will include a copy of the game, the Uncharted 4 Triple Pack which according to Sony “Includes future access to the first-ever, single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series and two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items,” and the ability to unlock two multiplayer customization items.
