You know that a particular device is close to being released on the market when a dummy unit of it has surfaced, and it does seem as though this is happening to the Sony Xperia Z5. As we all would know by now, a dummy unit would be more or less the same as that of the real deal. The photo that you see above started to make its rounds over in China, where it points to the alleged Sony Xperia Z5 that lies within a protective case, although one can still more or less make out the handset’s overall design that will not be too far removed from that of its predecessors.
Apparently, rumored hardware specifications of the Xperia Z5 will include an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, a 21.5MP camera at the back, a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and who knows what else? You know how rumors work before a particular piece of hardware hits the market – it is fickle, and changes all the time. It remains to be seen whether Sony will reveal the Xperia Z5 to the masses at IFA 2015 next month, so we will just sit tight and keep our fingers crossed.
