If you’re a fan of the Uncharted franchise, chances are you are eager to see what the Uncharted movie will look like. Last we heard, Sony was aiming for a more intense movie compared to National Treasure. In any case the movie was originally pegged for the summer of 2016 but it looks like fans will have to wait an extra year.
According to a report from Variety, Sony has pushed the date of the Uncharted movie to the summer of 2017. To be more specific, it has been pushed to the 30th of June 2017 so it looks like you still have a little under two years to go before you get to see Nathan Drake on the big screen.
We suppose this doesn’t come as a surprise especially since earlier this year in June, the movie lost its director Seth Gordon, but so far Sony has yet to announce who will be taking his place, let alone if there is any indication that a final script has been written or who might be starring in it, although we have heard rumors that Chris Hemsworth, Mark Wahlberg, and Channing Tatum are being eyed as potential actors for Nathan Drake.
In any case we suppose that’s all we have for now in terms of the Uncharted movie, but hopefully we will see a new director soon, along with a confirmed cast. In the meantime who are you guys eyeing to play the lead role?
