Earlier this month after running a trial in South Korea, Samsung announced that they will be bringing Samsung Pay to the US come 28th of September, which will be an interesting move to see how it will deal with the competition from the like of Apple and Google just to name a few.
Now if you’re curious about the feature and want to decide if this is the feature for you, you might be interested to learn that Samsung has begun rolling out invites to the beta program for Samsung Pay in the US. If you want to participate in the beta, you will need to own one of the eligible devices.
This pretty much includes the company’s flagship devices like the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy Note 5, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Users will also need to have an active Samsung account and a qualifying credit card from the Bank of America, MasterCard, Visa, or US Bank Visa.
Like we said we’re pretty excited to see how well-received Samsung Pay will be in the US, so if you’d like to participate, then hit up Samsung’s website for details on participating in the beta. Alternatively you could always wait until the 28th of September for the mainstream release.
