So we have been hearing a bit about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. This is supposedly a larger device compared to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and given its moniker, it will sport curved displays on its side. In fact a leaked photo from not too long ago allegedly showed off its press rendering.
That being said if you were still skeptical about the possibility of a Galaxy S6 Edge+, would an official confirmation clear your doubts? If that’s what it takes, you might be interested to learn that according to a contest that Samsung Netherlands is running, they have actually outed the Galaxy S6 Edge+ moniker.
Unless Samsung made a typo, it looks like the device is indeed for real. As for its specs, we can only base this on the rumors that we have heard previously. This includes sporting a 5.7-inch QHD display with an Exynos 7420 under the hood with 4GB of RAM, and 32/64GB of storage. It will also come with a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
In any case all will be officially revealed come 13th of August which is when Samsung will be hosting an Unpacked 2015 event, so do check back with us then where hopefully we will have more details to share with you guys!
