Come IFA 2015, Samsung will be officially revealing more details about their upcoming smartwatch, the Gear S2. The device has been teased by Samsung for a while now and if you’re sick of just looking at renders, you might be pleased to learn that a real-life photo (see above) has surfaced.
This is thanks to a recent post on Instagram by Dennis Miloseski, an executive at Samsung which means that the device you’re looking at above is the real deal, and boy we have to say that we are liking what we see! Based on what we can tell, it seems that the renderings aren’t doing the smartwatch any justice and it looks pretty good in real life.
While the exact specs of the watch still remain a bit of a mystery, the photo does clue us in to some features, like physical buttons meaning that the watch will not be entirely controlled by its rotating bezel. We also know that the watch will not be powered by Android Wear, instead it will most probably be powered by Tizen, but other than that we’re not sure what else it could include.
Either way if you like what you see and want to know more, do check back with us during IFA 2015, which kicks off next week from the 4-9th of September, for the details.
