It is unclear as to what kind of smartphones might be part of the Galaxy O lineup, but SamMobile claims that there are at least two models that are part of it for now. This includes the SM-G550 and the SM-G600. They are also expected to be named as the Galaxy O5 and the Galaxy O7 respectively.
Also based on Samsung’s naming scheme, there is a good chance the Galaxy O7 will feature higher-end specs, but that’s just speculation on our part. We doubt that these will be killer smartphones since that job typically falls to the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lineup. Chances are we will probably be greeted with more low-mid range handsets.
With the Galaxy A-series being made of metal and with that being one of its key characteristics, we have to wonder what kind of features Samsung has planned for the Galaxy O series to help it stand out amongst the crowd, but hopefully we will learn more at IFA 2015 next month.
