Recently Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, two new flagship smartphones for 2015. Now it seems that Samsung, in a bid to court iPhone owners, has launched test drive program where iPhone owners can register and take ownership of either handset mentioned above or the Galaxy S6 Edge for 30-days.
What this does is it allows iPhone owners to experience Samsung’s phones in the hope that maybe they will jump ship. So how does one go about signing up for this program? For starters it will only be available to those living in the US. Secondly, you will need an iPhone and using your mobile device, surf on over to Samsung’s website.
From there, you will need to pick out the phone you want, select the carrier you want to use, and pay a $1 processing fee, after which the handset will be shipped to you. Included is also a smart switch cable that will apparently help transfer data from your iPhone to your brand new Galaxy handset.
Once the 30 days are up, you will have a 5 day grace period to send the phone back to Samsung, failing which you will be charged the full retail amount on your credit card. If there are any damages, you will be liable for them and Samsung will charge you $100 for it. So, any takers?
