On the 10th of November, Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamers can look forward to getting their hands on the second game in the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise, Rise of the Tomb Raider. For those who are wondering about the game and who might not have played its prequel, you’re in luck because a new video has been released.
The video is basically gameplay footage from the upcoming game, so if you’ve never played the rebooted franchise before, this should give you an idea of what to expect. For gamers on the fence, hopefully the gameplay footage will also be able to persuade you to make the purchase. We should note that it runs 13 minutes long so you’ll want to pull up a chair, grab some popcorn, and enjoy.
The footage will showcase a new area that players can explore called the Prophet’s Tomb. There will also be some puzzle solving and tomb exploration that players have asked for, so potentially it could contain some spoilers, so avoid it if you want to surprise yourself upon the game’s release.
In the meantime last we heard Rise of the Tomb Raider was designed to be three times larger than its predecessor. This means there will be plenty of things for players to do, areas to explore, puzzles to solve, and so on. It has also been hinted at that the new Tomb Raider franchise could be a trilogy, so if you love what you see now, know that there could at least be one more title on its way.
