Razer has launched a new wireless controller for Xbox One, this pro-gamer-validated, tournament-grade controller is called the Razer Wildcat and it’s a good option for those who are particularly interested in e-sports. It features four multi-function buttons aside from the conventional array allowing gamers to re-bind any button on the controller for quick and easy access. The company says that Wildcat for Xbox One is 25 percent lighter than any other tournament grade controller.
According to Razer the Wildcat for Xbox One has an ergonomic shape which increases actuation speed and a quick control panel that lets users create a dedicated button layout profile for different games easily.
It has actually been designed with feedback of e-sports athletes, providing “unrivalled durability” with reinforced high carbon steel analog stick necks and removable aircraft-grade aluminum triggers.
Razer Wildcat for Xbox One features optional trigger stops for rapid fire, 2 shoulder Hyperesponse Multi-Function bumpers, 2 removable Hyperesponse Multi-Function triggers, a 3.5mm headset jack as well as optional rubber palm grips and analog stick grip caps.
The controller measures in at 106 mm x 156 mm x 66 mm and has a detachable 3m lightweight braided fiber cable with Micro-USB connector. Razer Wildcat for Xbox One will be available from the company’s website starting October 2015, worldwide release is also slated for that month, it’s priced at $149.99.
