If you’re into gaming accessories like a gaming keyboard or maybe a dedicated set of buttons for MMOs or MOBAs, you might recall that over the years Razer has launched similar devices, such as the Razer Deathstalker and the Razer Orbweaver. For the most part both devices followed the theme of Razer’s design, which was black with green lights/highlights.
However it looks like Razer has decided to give both accessories a color update as the company has officially announced both the Deathstalker and Orbweaver Chroma editions. So what is the difference? Basically if you’re not a fan of the green lighting, Chroma is here to help deal with that by offering up the ability to swap between a myriad of different colors, as you can see from the photos.
According to Razer, there will be 16.8 million different shades to pick from, so safe to say that you will be spoilt for choice and no two devices will look alike, as far as color is concerned. Gamers will also be able to select different portions of the keyboard to have different colors, so if you play MMORPGs and need to differentiate between the keys, this could come in handy.
Other than that, the functionality of both devices appear to remain the same as its predecessor. Both devices are currently available for purchase via Razer’s website, with the Deathstalker Chroma coming in at $100, while the Razer Orbweaver Chroma priced at $130.
