It was last year that Motorola launched their first smartwatch in the form of the Moto 360. Given that it’s been about a year, we reckon a successor is due and thanks to the rumors, it has been suggested that come next month all will be revealed as the next-gen Moto 360 is expected to make its debut at IFA 2015.
While this is just speculation, we suppose it makes sense. After all IFA is a great place for companies to showcase their products. In fact until recently Samsung had typically turned to IFA to announce their flagship Galaxy Note smartphones, so we guess Motorola announcing the Moto 360 at IFA 2015 might not be a stretch of the imagination either.
That being said, the device does exist based on the evidence we’ve seen so far. In fact earlier this year Lenovo’s CEO accidentally teased prototype images of the device, and it was a few months ago that the device was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG, and it was only last month that it was possibly sighted at the FCC as well, all of which seems to indicate that it is gearing up for a launch.
Unfortunately not much is known about the Moto 360’s successor, save for the early rumors that have suggested an upgrade in screen resolution from 320×290 to 360×360. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully next month we will have more official details to share with you guys.
