I for one am quite excited to see how the new crime game Mafia 3 turns out, it was officially confirmed not too long ago and just a few days back the first official trailer for this title was released. Today we have been treated to another Mafia 3 trailer and this one is all about the meaning of “family” and what the means to the protagonist in the game.
2K Games confirmed late last month that it’s developing a new Mafia title and then at Gamescom earlier this month it offered more details about this title aside from releasing the first trailer.
Mafia 3 follows five years after its predecessor Mafia 2 was released in 2010. Mafia 2 itself was released some eight years after the original Mafia title came out.
The new title is set in 1968 and it stars Lincoln Clay who is a Vietnam vet, our protagonist carries out various tasks for his family and we get an idea of what that means to him in this latest trailer. This title is being developed by 2K Studio Hangar 13.
In this trailer the developers take a look at the new characters and the things that motivate him, such as the drive to avenge his family that was taken out by the Italian mob while he was stationed in ‘Nam.
