As you can see in the images above and below, it shows off the handset and its interchangeable back covers, along with Verizon’s branding on the back of it. While the lighting might not be too good, it does seem to be in line with some of the photos we saw yesterday so at the very least the rumors are in line with each other.
Android Police also managed to get their hands on a CPU-Z listing which suggests that in terms of memory, the DROID Maxx 2 could be getting a bit of a downgrade. According to the listing, it suggests that the phone comes with 8.14GB of storage, while the Moto X Play which the DROID Maxx 2 is based on comes in 16 or 32GB storage options.
However other than that discrepancy, the rest of the specs are pretty much in line with the Moto X Play. This includes its 5.5-inch Full HD display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, its 21MP rear-facing camera, and its sizable 3,630mAh battery, but until we hear from Verizon or Motorola, take it with a grain of salt for now.
