Thanks to Konami community manager Robert Peeler, a post on the Steam forums has revealed what kind of hardware gamers will need to run the game. Starting with the minimum, gamers will need an Intel Core i5-4660 clocked at 3.4GHz or better. They will also need a minimum of 4GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 with 2GB of VRAM or better, along with 28GB of storage.
As for recommended specs, Konami is suggesting that gamers have an Intel Core i7-4790 clocked at 3.6GHz or better. Gamers are also recommended to have 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or better. Both minimum and recommended are also asking that gamers run Windows 7 64-bit or better, although there’s no mention of Windows 10 support yet.
If you’re wondering why this sounds familiar, it is because for the most part, the specs are the same as Ground Zeroes from last year, so if you had no problems playing Ground Zeroes, we reckon you should be good to go for The Phantom Pain.
