Some people do all sorts of crazy things to steal a gaming console, even shooting other people to steal their consoles. Christopher Caldwell of West Palm Beach, Florida took a less sinister route to allegedly steal a PlayStation 4, he reportedly tried to make off with the console by stuffing it down his pants.
There are a lot of things that you can steal by stuffing in your pants such as chocolates, biscuits, cellphones and even handheld gaming consoles. However if you’ve ever laid eyes on a PlayStation 4 you’ll certainly be well aware that it’s not something you can stuff down your pants and expect nobody to even notice.
A local crime reporter says that Caldwell was arrested at a Walmart in Port St. Lucie after he allegedly tried to steal a PlayStation 4 by stuffing it in his pants and trying to make a run for it.
Apparently Caldwell though there was ample space in his pants for the console as well as the accessories because he allegedly started concealing them in his pants as well.
The report from Port St. Lucie police states that he removed the PS4 from the box before concealing it in his trousers, Caldwell was arrested for grand felony theft. It’s a mad, mad world.
