We all know that typing for long on virtual keyboards isn’t as comfortable compared to an actual keyboard, so if you know that you have long documents that you need to type up while on the go, you might want to consider using an actual keyboard. However if you’d rather not deal with the bulk, LG has you covered.
The company has recently announced a new accessory called the LG Rolly. As you can see in the images, this is a solid keyboard that can be easily rolled out and stuffed into a bag or pocket, thus letting you take it with you while on the go. According to LG, they claim that typing on it is as comfortable as a regular keyboard.
This is apparently due to its 17mm key pitch which is close to a regular keyboard’s 18mm pitch. The keyboard will be made from polycarbonate and ABS plastic, thus making it kind of durable. There will also be foldable arms that will be able to help prop up smartphones or tablets so that you can look at the screen easily while you type.
Pricing was not confirmed but according to LG, the LG Rolly will be making its way to the masses in the US come this September, followed by a rollout to other regions such as Europe, Latin America, and Asia in the later part of the year. It will also be on display at IFA 2015 for those who are planning to attend.
