We have to admit we’re curious as to why the device wasn’t given that much attention, but then again based on the specs of the tablet, it’s not particularly impressive which might explain why. So what can we expect from the tablet? For starters it will feature an 8-inch display. Its resolution is of the 800×1200 variety so for those hoping for Full HD, you will be disappointed.
Under the hood, the LG G Pad 2 will be powered by the same chipset as its predecessor, which for those unfamiliar is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will come with an upgraded 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, also an upgrade over its predecessor which only had 16GB of storage.
It will come with a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a decently-sized 4,200mAh battery, and Android 5.0. Unfortunately there is no word on whether LG will bring the G Pad 2 stateside, so we guess we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for a potential North American launch.
